Introduced in 2001, the .NAME universal top-level extension is the sole TLD planned for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other labels people are known by. At the beginning, only 3rd-level registrations were permitted, so if you desired to book john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Existing 3rd-level domain names remained running.

You will have the opportunity to modify the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you acquire its EPP transfer authorization code from the current domain service provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been finalized.
